Because, on a real note, in 2022, my business hit 6 figures. In fact, I slowly scaled my business to hit 6-figures in 2022 but honestly, it wasn't easy. It was kind of overwhelming.
But let’s rewind the tape real quick because it’s important to note it wasn’t always 20 hour work weeks and secure-school-contracts and bliss over here.
When I was working as a school psych in the public schools, sitting in meeting after meeting with disgruntled parents, tired teachers, and a high caseload…I could have never imagined I’d quit my job, start an independent business, and grow it into something I LOVE.
I started doing this as a side gig in 2015, but when I finally decided to go at it more seriously, I made $10k that first year. FYI, it was about 3 years into my side gig. It wasn’t much, but I was stoked—and determined to grow more. After learning, the hard way, what I did right and oh so wrong, I grew my business to 6 figures in 2022.
Today, I have built a name and a brand that represents ME.
